Support the Mudhouse Artist Residency

Your gift will have a huge impact on the artists who come through mudhouse

Help Support Artists' Participation in an International Residency Program and Revitalize a Historic, Neglected Village

At Mudhouse, we believe in the power of creativity and community. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring the Mudhouse remains a nurturing space for artists from around the world to thrive, explore new ideas, and create a lasting impact.

Why does this matter?

💙 The Mudhouse Residency is like no other. It’s a launchpad for new voices, experimental work, and collaborations that extend far beyond the edges of the island. In the mountains of Crete, we foster an environment where artists can break boundaries, challenge norms, and connect across cultures and generations, creating not only art but also deep, global conversations.

💙 In 2025 we’ll be hosting a Special Session focused on one of the urgent issues of our time: climate change. This will be an opportunity for artists to raise awareness through their work, collaborate on a powerful project, and amplify the message that creativity is a crucial tool in addressing our planet’s most pressing challenges.

💙 Your generosity makes all of this possible

What will your gift support?

Hear from some of the artists who have been to mudhouse:

“Mudhouse was such an amazing opportunity for me, and I think it would be great for artists at any stage in their career”

“The community just continues to build and motivate you, even after you’ve come home to wherever it is for you … Mudhouse never leaves you”

—Courtney Nicole Googe, Mudhouse Resident 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018
